Massive thanks to Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Incorporated (TOSSI) for an awesome community planting day!
Earlier this month the Saltwater crew joined a great bunch of hard working volunteers at TOSSI’s July Planting Day. The weather forecast didn’t disappoint and all the volunteers enjoyed winter blue bird skies; perfect planting conditions.
The day was a great success and a solid group effort ensured that the target of planting 5,000 natives trees was acheived. Another great boost to Tawharanui Regional Park’s restoration project.
