Matariki Marine Debris and Ocean Plastics Workshop in Matakana Village
On Sunday 25th June Kirst ran an awesome Marine Debris and Ocean Plastics workshop in Matakana Village. The event was in celebration of Matariki (Maori New Year) and saw great collaborations between local businesses, the Matakana Village Community and the Matakana Green Collective.
The day was a fantastic success. Saltwater Eco provided the eco focused educational element to the day which included our famous Breakdown timeline, plastic free alternatives and resources. The workshop received lots of interest and we’re already looking forward to the next workshop.
