The Saltwater Eco crew are always eager to talk Marine Debris and Ocean Plastics, so we jumped at the chance to share our knowledge whilst helping out another passionate ocean advocate.
Bethany Hudson from Mahurangi College had been investigating the impact of litter on our oceans for her Year 8 Action Plan project. She met with Lydia our principle marine biologist and avid conservationist and together they talked PLASTIC. Check out our interview.
After the interview Lydia and Bethany took to the beach in search of litter, which inevitably they found along with a good handful of micro-plastic which generally remains undetected.
