Saltwater Eco get Awarded Air NZ/DOC Coast Gems Contract.
Saltwater Eco were thrilled to be chosen to host the Dive Into Adventure Day at Goat Island. The day was one of a series of events organised by Air New Zealand and the Department of Conservation (DOC) as part of their joint Coastal Gems competition.Saltwater Eco created the day’s itinerary as well as hosted the event.
The day included:
Meeting with a Ngati Manuhiri Rep, a Private Marine Discovery Centre Tour, Private SUP Tour, Private Guided Snorkel, Marine Mammal Spotting and a Rocky Shore Explore activity.
The day was a great success and all the winners learnt new skills in and on the water in addition to gaining a much greater understanding and appreciation about NZ marine reserves.
